Our Story 

After leaving his then employer almost a decade ago, when they refused his suggestion to start a Homebased rehabilitation service following many patients who were constantly being readmitted to hospital after being discharged home. Strokerehabco founder, Wanda Mhobo, decided to brave it up and start his own Homebased Physiotherapy practice. His target market were those rehab patients that refused to go to institution-based rehab or step down facilities to instead opting to go straight home after being discharged from hospital. These were patients that would land up being back to hospital due to lack of support at home.

With a focus on evidence-based practice and a compassionate approach, Wanda started a practice that strives to empower these individuals to regain their strength, mobility, and independence right in the comfort of their home. StrokeRehabCo quickly gained a massive reputation to support these patients and their families every step of the way towards a healthier and happier life. They now have multiple practices throughout Johannesburg, Pretoria and Durban.
